UPDATE--5/1/09
I've come back to work on a few things, though it may still take some time. I hope to get through it and make sure everything is fully-functional again. Please be patient with me, as I'm slow and lazy when it comes to organizing! A bunch of links to the fanfic-docs are still useless, but I'll try to change that over the next week or so. I'm also trying new layouts; if some pages have unreadable text, that's simply because I haven't gotten to edit them yet.
Also, I've decided to include some of my Faculty fanfic in the site. It's been exclusively hobbits since I started, but my current interests like more in the Casey/Zeke (Elijah Wood/Josh Hartnett) realm. I was honestly torn about adding it (hell, I had a hard time wondering if I wanted to keep this site running at all...!), but I have to give in and let the Fac-boys run amok. Enjoy!

UPDATE!
freewebs.com has proven itself very unreliable over the last six or so months; I've barely been able to update and organize the site's resources as I've wanted to. Either I'm going to scrap this site or really, REALLY revamp it. It means that some pages have been taken out and MANY of the files on the pages will NOT work. I'm trying to organize the folders better, and that means that there's going to be a switching of placements/links. I will be working on this over the next week or so! So much stuff is outdated and unneeded; the "Updates" I'd had listed below this is going to be scrapped, as much has changed dealing with pages and my hosting others' work.
In the meantime, if you'd like to read my hobbit-fic, my good friend thegrapeofdeath had put together a livejournal, archiving my site's work. The username is hv_hobbit_fics... feel free to drop by. :)

Onto my original description... relishing the moments, silliness and sighs... for those times when it looks as if a love has gone unrequited...
...It is then up to the readers and watchers to put forth their imaginations.
Imagination can be a tricky thing when you're on your own. Dependant on words and visuals that don't quite meet what you like, the frustration at wanting to see things go a certain way... well, that's when one has to take up the initiative and give forth their own views.
Over the course of less than two months, I've become quite enamoured with the idea of slash-fiction/fan-fiction dealing with LOTR. I've read volumes of it in many sites and have submitted to them as well. I've been an avid writer all my life, obsessively so; my own workings, titled "Another God's Mouth" and "West Virgin in Iowa" I hope to publish soon. It's been something that has haunted me, thrilled me, excited me since 1998 when I first started writing AGM. I can't count the pages anymore, as I'm highly disorganized, unfortunately, and have little patience with editing and putting things right. I have family and friends who yell at me constantly to get off my ass and "do it up" (as my friend Sarah says), and just get the thing done and sent out. I believe I can do it, I'm just not at that point yet. I hope I will be soon.
Perhaps I'll edit a few more 'choice disclaimers' when I think of more, but these four are the most important that I can think of. I wish for my works to be respected, but if you find something you don't like feel free to e-mail me at vast_cool_and_unsympathetic@yahoo.com. Flaming can be fun for sure, and feel free if you must- not that it would do much good. If anything give me a good honest criticism, and all will be well. I just enjoy writing these things; in the matter of less than two months, I've writ close to 700 pages worth of my own fan-fic on the angles of Frodo and Sam as they're seen not just by me, but by a good lot of others.
